Spiced: Dive into Delicious Curries and Craft Beer

I’ve been casually curious about a particular shop for a while, called “Spiced”.

Just by looking at the exterior, you can tell that the curry here must be good. Yes, Let’s go !

1: Restaurant

Once we come inside of the restaurant, a friendly staff and chef welcomes us. The interior is simple, yet comfortable, with a high ceiling that creates a sense of spaciousness. The walls are covered with menus and pop-ups detailing various curries, which gives customers a feeling of reassurance.

When I looked at the menu, there were so many curries that I didn’t know which one to choose. They all looked delicious. True to its name, “Spiced,” the restaurant offers many curries that use a generous amount of spices. Each curry menu are indicated spiciness level as well.

When I looked at the menu, two curries immediately caught my eye: the shop’s recommended 18-spice OTONA curry and another with my favorite cardamom. Luckily, the lunch menu offered a choice of two curries, so I was able to try both of them.

2. Food

Lunch course has a naan and rice wit 2 types of curries and also some dishes. It’s a substantial menu!

At first, I was a little worried about the “adult curry” with 18 different spices, as I heard it was level 5 spiciness. But it was just a nice, moderate spiciness. As I started to eat, I noticed it was more rich and flavorful than spicy, which made it incredibly addictive. It’s a spicy heat that’s driven by the spices, not chili.

As the name suggests, the cardamom curry has a wonderful aroma of cardamom. I really loved the flavor.

You should know this place isn’t just for curry—they also have great side dishes and a bunch of different craft beers you can enjoy.

With delicious beer and fantastic curry, you’re guaranteed to have a blissful time!
