One Saturday, I walked on the slope in Tsutsujigaoka because I heard that there is nice bakery there. There is a beautiful outlook of the bakery in the residential area and a full of people. It is like a bakery that I watched in the some movies!

Where is the shop?

L’atelier 28banchi (“banchi” means each block in the distinct is numbered.) is located in the residential area of Tsutsujigaoka. It takes 12mins from Aobadai station though people loves to come this bakery all the way. I passed over L’atelier 28banchi in the first time because they are quietly located in the resindetial area. This L’atelier 28banchi is the very hidden gem !

If you go to L’atelier 28banchi, you find the park ” Tsutsujigaoka 4th park ” first then cross over the opposite pedestrians road and find this bakery.

Once you arrive at L’atelier 28 banchi, a beautiful design of the shop welcomes you. Yellow colour of the wall, thick and dark wood of the door ..it looks like European taste of design in the entrance approach.

I actually went to their bakery in the afternoon in the first time. There was almost nothing in the showcase because normally all the breads are sold out soon once they open the shop. So, 2nd time, I went to this bakery 10am + which is right after opening the shop. I managed to buy my breads and sweets but many customers are queing in front of the shop! Wow, very popular bakery shop!

How is the bread?

I bought an echire butter roaf and some baked sweets. An echire butter roaf – we all love echire butter. So I could enjoy this butter taste in this roaf. I normally didn’t even think about the taste of ” crust ” when I bought the roaf. But for their roaf, I enjoyed the taste about the crust, too.

For baked stuff, I bought a chocolat brownie, chocolate cookies (inside there is rasberry jam) and almond cookies. They are really nice ! Though each of items are small, the taste is very rich. So, if you go to this bakery, you must not forget to buy their savory baked sweets, too!
