There are several Italian restaurants in Aobadai. Each restaurant has their own uniqueness. This Sumiyaki ryori & Italian Tsuji is also very unique way to serve the food and loved by local residents. They mentioned their restaurant name ” Sumiyaki ryori ” which means their food is cooked by charcoal grilling. Our appetite is increasing if we imagine italian and grilled menu.
Where is the restaurant?
The restaurant is just in front of Sakuradai Park. From the window, we can enjoy looking at Sakuradai Park. (Actually we are too busy for enjoying the food to look at outside of the window!) Though it is a kind of distance from Aobadai station, many customers in the restaurant not only dinner time but also lunch time. Don’t forget to make a reservation!
How is the food?
I went to this restaurant for lunch. Today, I could choose only one lunch course menu because another menu “chef’s omakase menu ( chef’s selected menu ) ” can be ordered from 2 pax. Well too bad! because Chef’s omakase menu has a charcoal grilled item in the course. Well, I will come back again with my family!
Though my lunch does not have charcoal grilled item, I really enjoyed the food! Lunch course is 1,900yen. An appetiser, homemade foccaia (big!), zuppa (soup), pasta (we can select from 3 types of pasta) and dolce with coffee (espresso or tea, too). I selected canola flower’s leave and homemade sausage pasta with creme sauce for the pasta. And I ordered their house wine.
Their antipasto (appetiser) has many attractive items are assorted in one big plate
Today’s zouppa is red capsicum. It is also very heart warming in the winer. Less creme but very smooth soup.
Homemade sausages are minched type. It goes well with creme sauce. This is very unique recipe.
I forgot to take a picture about their home made foccacia. It is very tasty and generously served big slice.It is pretty filling in my stomach though this is only 1,900yen! Cost perfomance is pretty good. After this lunch, I took a walk in Sakuradai Park for digestion haha!
