Are you a coffee lover? If yes, don’t miss this shop. Mamekichi （まめきち）is selling beautiful coffee beans that they roasted daily in Aobadai.

Where is the shop?

Mamekichi is located in Shiratori-dai. It takes 10mins from Aobadai station. Mamekichi is just next to the ramen shop (Menya Kobayashi). So, you can make a trip to this area for enjoying ramen and getting nice coffee bean after ramen!

Once we go inside the shop, there are many buckets of coffee beans! Staff roasted coffee beans inside the shop but they welcome us friendly once we go inside the shop.

I was very surprised to see that there was just no end to the customers coming to this shop! So I see that this Mamekichi is really loved by residents in Aobadai.

How is the coffee?

Before I buy their roasted beans, I just wanted to try their taste. So, I bought one time dripped coffee package of their original roasted coffee.

I bought Laos and their Mamekichi original. Laos taste is less bitter and a bit sour. Mamekichi kept this aroma very well during their roasting the bean. Mamekichi Original , I like it very much because bean taste is strong though it is very smooth!

Mamekichi is also selling decaffeinated type, too.
