If you ever go to U.S., most of meals are big size. Big size of stake, big size of drinks etc.. When I went to the Lucy’s Bakery, it reminds me of this culture. Yes, their cakes are ” Big” size! Lucy’s Bakery is the cafe like American country style in Aobadai.

Where is the cafe?

Lucy’s Bakery is located in Tsutsujigaoka where we take a walk for 7mins. from Aobadai station.

Lucy’s Bakery is located on the slope. When you walk near Lucy’s Bakery, good smell of cakes come into your nose! Then you can find an American style of cafe there.

Atmosphere

Once you come inside the cafe, there is a showcase for cakes. All cakes are big! American size! When did you see such a big size of cake lately? When I looked at all pies in the showcase, I got a kind of nostalgic memory that my American friend used to bake a pie in the winter for me during staying in U.S.

Of course, you can do ” To Go” for all cakes. Or you can order the cake and drink here for dining in the cafe, too.

I had a cup of coffee in the cafe and brought back cakes to my family since they requested! I bought a strawberry short cake and, “of course”, a pie! A pie that I order today is an Apple crumbre.Slices of apple are very big and thick! Wow! this cafe is very generous! lol.

Talking about the cafe, there are several tables and counter seats. From the counter seat, I could enjoy my coffee while I looked at the street view from the painted funkily in their window. Though we need to walk a bit from Aobadai station, I guarantee that you can have a relax time in this cafe!

Not forgetting about Lucy’s Bakery’s another attractiveness is that this cafe sells their original T shirts and sweatshits as house goods. It is very American oldies style. Don’t miss it!

By the way, Lucy’s Bakery is a group of Bubble Over in Ichigao and TroubaDour in Tama Plaza.(where I used to go often for drinks when I was 20’s! lol) Lucy’s Bakery provides their cakes to their group diners like Bubble Over and TrouvaDour daily.
