Since I lived in asian countries for long in my life, I miss Asian food especially Thai food! Hooray! we, our proud , Aobadai has Asian dining in our town! The restaurant name is Asian bistro Dai （アジアンビストロDai）
Where is the restaurant?
Asian bistro Dai is located in the street at the right after the junction of Enokigaoka where you come from Aobadai station all the way straight towards to Nagatsuda direction.
Atmosphere
This restaurant has open kitchen concept. We can hear how chef cooks and staff’s cheerful communication. We can feel restaurant vives and enjoy the hustle and bustle of Asia! There is counter seat for single/a couple, 2 terrace seats , and dining area inside of the restaurant. Cozy atmosphere. Restaurant put the heater for the customers in the terrace seat so we can enjoy this seat during winter,too!

Wait! I found their set & side dish menu and said ” wow !” They have Asian set (+350yen only !) that has tom yam soup ! Furthermore, vietnamese spring roll (oh~ my love! Beautiful taste with fish sauce) and fish cake toast! Yes, I ordered this , too with pad thai!
Tada~, this is Asian set. Of course, this is mini-set but it satisfied my needs.
I could enjoy tom yam soup. Soup is a bit sweet but taste is good! Spring roll is as it is. Beautiful taste with fish sauce and sweet sauce. But this spring roll has full of vegetables !
Personally I want to show this fish cake(look like?) toast more.( they called prawn toast : 海老トースト). It is very creative dish that has fish cake kind of stuff on the bread and toasted it. It is crispy once I put this toast in my mouth and very tasty by meaty prawn on the toast! You can’t eat this in Asia countries!
Ok, finally my main dish is here! Main dish comes with a salad. Pad thai is exactly same taste that I enjoyed in Thailand. Yes, I missed this parsley. Squeeze a slice of lemon on the noodle, ( not lime here. haha. lime is not that common here unlike Asia.) Itadakimasu! Food in the plate is sufficiently amount for one person.
Of course, the person who comes from Asia or had lived in Asia country for long like me, I can’t enjoy the food without spicy stuff. Yes, Dai gives chilli poweder and sweet chilli sauce. So my dear Malaysian friend, Maybelline, you won’t need to bring a bottle of chilli sauce anymore from Malaysia! lol.
So, my order is 1) Asian set (350yen) and 2) Lunch set (salad, main dish , soft drink and coffee, 1,100 yen) . Very satisfied!

Overall, we can enjoy exact Asian taste. Dinner menu, there is wide range of dishes in the menu . Tapas, Appetisers, Ajillo etc. And restaurant’s recommended item ; Oyster, too !Main dish If you want to go alone ? no problem! Friendly staff welcomes you. So don’t be shy!
